Jia Hui and i was especially exicited...the thought of meeting our Bintan friends again after about 2 months or so. immediately after we arrived, we were greeted by Andjar who was going to take us around for the entire day. the secondary students were going to get back their exam results that day after which they will have the day off because they were still celebrating hari raya haji. when we reached Sebong Lagoi school, a chorus of hellos soon reached our ears. it was really go to see everyone again! Frizul and Rian came in 1st and 3rd respectively for their class while Andi got 3rd in his class. we played basketball, volleyball, sang songs and played the guitar. they learnt how to sing the english songs we taught them...i was really really touched :) then we walked around the village cos we wanted to see how they live here in Bintan. first stop was at Rian's house...and then to more houses. walk and walk and walk...and at each house we at kept eating too...haha. their familes were really nice...kept insisting that we come into theor houses to sit down and offered lots of food. we went to the beach and even played pool! haha...they actually have pool tables in the village. it was interesting playing with them...suddenly they will just shift the balls around in the middle of the game...haha...i guess they have their own rules. we were all having so much fun but unknowingly time was also passing and soon were at our last stop was at Fiasal's house. we headed by to the school and before leaving, i had a ride on the motorcycle with Faisal. it was so so fun! apparenntly all of them can ride it...and they are only around 13-17! finally it was time to give little huggies and say goodbye...promise to come and visit again during our march hoildays. that was my best day of this year so far!

it was just a one day visit but it meant a lot to me. heard from Andjar yesterday that both Frizul and Andi are going to receive a scholarship for their studies. i'm so proud of you guys! till we meet again!

school been fine so far. but we really have a lot of work to do now. i dont get to see my home in the day anymore... that is something i must get use to...haha.

ahh!!! i'm so happy! it was 10 around plus and i was walking home from the bus stop when i suddenly got a call. it was Andi! one of my friends from Bintan. i was so surprised that i was actually screaming...haha. it felt extra good after a long tiring day at school and after tuition...knowing that my friends in Bintan remember me. and they still do think of all of us... i'm so so touched. its the special kind of friendship we have...how shall i put it...its the "so near yet so far" feeling. hey...don't worry...we'll be visiting you guys real soon!

school's been fine. suddenly there is so much of work and i'm still not used to it. i guess its because of the long holiday break and suddenly we have to get use to the long hours of school again. met my new bunch of track juniors on monday. wow...they are a super cool batch! Crystal wants to start a drama ministry to get the youths to participate more actively in church and learn christ through drama. and then Alex hopes to see more outdoor activities being organised to bring the youths together...so on and so forth. i am really impressed by their ideas.

i wasnt thinking to that extent though. to summarise what i wrote on my paper, i want to reach out to the youths and share the love and joy i have with them. silently, the one year that i have been in YC, going to Marion children's home and my Bintan ocip trip has taught me so much about love. love that is not only in relationships and friendships...but for people we come across everyday and even people we dont know. and it makes me think about how i should be more selfless and giving without any intentions. haha...and i guess watching the Michael Jackson 30th anniversary tribute on starworld the other day has encouraged me even more through his song 'Heal the world'. love his songs man...sigh... what happened to him? yeah...so that would be my dream for the youths...to start with myself.

this year was not too bad. i've finally learnt to leave the past totally behind for problem A and problem B. jc was great...meeting new friends and getting used to the long hours in school. i just love ac! i got more involved in church and made a lot of good friends there. helping out at camps, leading activities, taking more responsibility was something i thought that i would never be capable of. being introduced to rugby...my new love...learning to be more tough! haha. and of cos seeing the other side of live...my friends in Bintan...how life can be so different out there.

as for my new year resolution...i guess it would be to be more focus in my studies, spend more quality time with my family and friends, train hard for rugby so that i can get into my dream team in the future, continue to be involved in church activities. and i also hope to visit my friends Bintan again. i want an mp3 player...is that counted? haha. this year is gonna be short...a'level year. yup...must spend my time well. school is finally starting tomorrow...yay!

clothes for tsunami victims in Chennai

my friend Jason is assisting a family to collect clothing for victims of the tsunami in Chennai. if you have any clothing, old or new, that you would like to donate, please let me know. yup...feel free to contact me if you have and i'll inform Jason. thank you!

merry berry christmas!

i can finally get to use the computer! so i quicken my pace for like the next 50 metres...and when i finally got onto the escalator i let out a sigh of relieve. but wait...shit! suddenly he was standing beside me and he smiled! then i rushed down the escalator and he also did. then finally when we reached the platform, i just stood there and wanted to wait for him to go off first. maybe i was just thinking too much. but no...he went up to me and said "hey girl...why you walk so fast? i was trying to compete with you. are you an athlete? i also used to be one...." all i remembered saying was "erm...yah yah yah" then i speed up and walk towards MPH, remembering that i wanted to look for a book. upon entering MPH, i just looked back to see if he was still there and to my horror, that stupid man was walking towards MPH too! anyway, i went to my grandma's place today and met up with all my aunties, uncles and cousins for dinner. been a long time since we had dinner together and i really miss her cooking :)

got a message from Janan this morning! he just came back from australia yesterday for his summer holiday. actually i dont really know him that well...only that he also went for the east cluster mount kinabalu camp way back when we were in sec 3 and that he was my partner for our confirmation 4 camp last year...and occasionally i still see him in church early this year. and before he left, he just casually said to keep in touch which i didnt really took it for real. but he actually still remembers me...i'm so touched! haha. i must catch up with you before school starts!

so fast the year is coming to an end. this year was quite a fast one...or maybe because more hours were spent in school since jc started, hence each day seem as though it has be shortened. but i really enjoyed jc life :) and now that christmas is just in a week's time...i'm really looking forward to it yet at the same time dreading it. some how i dont like festive seasons for a reason. nevertheless, i'll still celebrate my christmas...probably go to church and enjoy some quiet time with my family...dont have to be extravagant. that's also because i'm saving up for something else...hehe.

gen zhe yue liang man man zou

went to sentosa today with Shawn, Huiling, Eu and Sze Wai. it was supposed to be a class outing but because of the late notice, i guess that was why the turn out was bad. oh wells...but we did had our fair share of fun chilling out at Siloso Beach, playing volleyball, watching the musical fountain performance, just walking around. its hard to imagine that we will be senior next year...that's very fast. we had our track and field farewell for our seniors yesterday. could this be our last time seeing you guys?

hmm...i keep listening to this Tension song over and over again for the past few days. Some how the lyrics of 'Gen zhe yue liang man man zou' reminds me of my whole Bintan experience. just two weeks back when everynight we had to walk to and fro to Pasar Oleh Oleh and our bunks for dinner...the view of the sky around that timing is just awesome. the moon, so many stars, red sky...so nice. and i'll always be looking up while walking...i miss that nice view and of cos the whole experience of the trip. eversince i got back, everyday i'll picture myself laughing with them, singing and playing games, teaching in class, Rian teaching me how to play the guitar, Frizul and Andi teaching me how to speak bahasa indonesia, doing the 'hokie pokie' and 'high 5!'...haha there's too much to mention. i even see them in my dreams! serious! arghh...i really miss Sebong Lagoi. really thankful for the special relationships we have.

i just pray that i'll be able to visit them again in during march. a few of us are actually planning our own trip to Bintan during the march holidays. especially since the secondary class i taught will be graduating in june...i really hope to see them again. after telling my dad how attached we are to the students there, surprisingly he is fine with the idea as long as my term exam results are ok. i'm so happy...so yeah...it now depends on me. i really want to work hard for it...my biggest wish! haha.

i miss bintan

eversince i came back from Bintan, i'm always thinking of everyone there. hmm...wonder how have they been. we went there for an overseas community involvement pragram to teach english to two schools. i still remember about two weeks back when we first stepped into our bunks and all of us were so disgusted by the fact there wasn't a flash in the toilet. you have to contineously pour water down the toilet bowl till all the waste is sucked down. haha...it was hard to adapt initially. but in SD Sebong Lagoi (the school that we taught in), there were even no doors! the people there are not really bothered. as fro us, we would have to carry a plastic door and lean it against the walls so as to prevent anyone from seeing us while we are doing our business...haha. of cos there were many complains...but soon the complains turned into blessings.

40 students from ACJC went for the trip, where we are splitted into two groups to go to two different schools. the other group went to Sri Bintan. In Sebong Lagoi, the school compound was really small with only about 6 classrooms. Quite hard to imagine them being able to study in such conditions with no fans, really old wooden chairs and tables...yet looking at their faces...how much they enjoy learning and love going to school...it really touched my heart :)

on the first day, we were welcomed with an opening ceremony. as soon as our bus was in sight, we could hear the students cheering, sounds from the drums playing...and soon girls dressed in their traditional costumes formed a tunnel and greeted us as we made our way through. we were treated to some traditional dances before the welcome speech was made. after which, we got to mingle with the students and also played volleyball with the older boys...and they are really good at it!

finally started teaching on day 2 and also for day 3 and 4. that morning, all of us were so excited while packing our teaching materials...yet also a little nervous because we didnt now what to expect. we reached Sebong Lagoi around 9 and after a briefing we went to our respective classes. i still recall stepping into Class 4 and immediately the primary school kids greeted us with a super loud 'Hello!'. it was really fun teaching them...we taught them words like star, moon, clouds...emotions like happy, sad, worried...animals and the sounds they make, songs like 'Baa baa black sheep', 'If you're happy and you know it clap your hands'. not only were they ethusiastic...they were all so willing to learn...and they are only 7 years old! And the also chicken dance and 'Pokie Pokie' that they can never get enough of...haha.

Afternoon lessons were for the secondary classes. my group and i got to teach the senior class which made up of students ranging from 13-17 years old. initially it was difficult unlike the primary class. just like ourselves...as we get older, we wont want to participate much because it is childish and uncool...haha. so connecting with the secondary class was important. and since everyone is the class love singing and volleyball, we also taught them english songs as part of our lesson plan which they enjoyed very much. and for an exchage, the class taught us 'Munkin Nanati' (a recent popular hit by Peterpan) and we taught them how to sing 'More Than Words'. Rian taught me how to play the song on the guitar and vice versa. it was quit funny initially when we kept pronouncing the words wrongly. but thanks to Frizul, Fanny and the rest...we manage to get it right...i think...haha. we also made them act out Cinderella and that was hilarious.

monday was our last day at Sebong Lagoi. it was the closing ceremony and we performed 'Potong Bebeh Angsa' and 'Mungkin Nanti'...spent the week end practicing it even while we went to the city Tanjong Pinang to shop...haha. and our class performed for us too and 'More Than Words'. got to meet up with our respective classes for the last time before we left...some of them even presented us with gifts which was really touching. finally when it was time to part, many were in tears including myself. just few days and we are already so attached to each other. i'm still thinking of them...really miss everybody :)

the last night was spent at Nirwana Hotel...some really high class hotel by the beach. we played beach volleyball, went swimming, built sand castles...it was so fun! but even so, many of us were thinking of Sebong Lagoi. i love the life there compare to Singapore...so simple yet everyone is so happy and satisfied. i guess seeing the other side of life really changed my impression of many things and taught me to treasure what i have. i dont know how to explain how i feel...there's so much to say and this is just part of it. you have to experience it for yourself...haha. the trip was definately too short!

home sweet home

i'm finally back after being away from home for two weeks. first it was my Bintan OCIP trip, followed by Camp Banyan and then it was Blacks Bangkok tour. just came home from Bangkok yesterday. went there for a friendly match of Rugby 15s with the Thai national teams there. and we won both games! they were the under 19 and under 16 teams...we are definately at an advantage in terms of age and size. but the Thai girls were damn good for the age! it was a good experience for me :) the last two days were for R&R.we shopped the entire day and i really enjoyed bargaining...haha. also went for Thai massage! we also went to the World Carnival Amusement Park. it is at least 5 times bigger than Escape Theme Park in Singapore! the worst thing about this trip is that i was mistaken for being a butch...gosh that wsa scary...haha.

before the bangkok tour was Camp Banyan (church youth camp). i came back from Bintan on the first night of the camp. didnt really participate much this time round. i was one of the mentors but basically there was nothing much for me to do. also, i was feeling unwell so i didnt participate much. perhaps that is why the camp was boring to me...didnt enjoyed it much. and my mind was still thinking of my Bintan trip. but i enjoyed mixing around with the participants and making new friends. Jude and Alex even asked me to be their godsister! that was the highlight of the camp for me and also praise and worship on the last night.

haha...there's so much more i wanna say about my Bintan OCIP experience...but i'm feeling really tired now. will continue tomorrow.

bintan, here i come!

been super busy and i didnt really bother to update my blog. been working though...and by the time i get home...after dinner, watching tv and all, i'll be in bed already...haha. this time i'm working at my aunt's office and had a one day job for a small event held by American Express over the weekend. same reason...to gain experience and so that i can also discover what i really want to be and do when i grow up. but then, i'm still keeping my options open. so holidays are for me to try out all the different jobs...haha. and after two weeks of work...i know for sure that i cannot survive facing the walls in the office everyday!

finally got to throw the discus for the last training! i was so so happy...though it wasn't that good. but it was my first time so i'm still quite satisfied...haha. coach said we did pretty ok for a start. i cant wait to throw again :)

will be leaving for bintan tomorrow for my school's cip trip. some how, i'm not really looking forward to it. i can predict that it will be kinda boring actually. but i'm looking forward to teaching the primary school kids at the village. oh yes...and shopping also! it should be fun...yeah it should be fun la. won't be back till one week plus time...buhbye!

another boring day

deepavali...oh what a day. it was super boring. while people are out there celebrating, others taking time to relax and chill out...i was stuck at home for the whole day. suppose to meet Shereen and Priscilla for tea but it was cancelled. so i was just watching tv the whole day...switching channels every now and then. i was actually watching the iifa awards...can you believe it.

met up with my fellow YCers for Con 3 camp debrief at Siglap at 7.30pm. that was something to look forward to...meeting up with Crystal, Ly, Ann Nee and all again. And together with the other few we had dinner and then crossed over to Gelare for ice-cream. Finally started the session close to 9 and it was a really good one. some how all these sessions that we always have helps me to reflect more about the things that we did...in this case was being a youth facilitator at camp. i kinda hope that we can do a follow-up for next year's camp when the teens are in sec 4 :) btw, no worries Colin...its not what you are thinking...haha.

my grandma (dad's side) turned 87 last tuesday...and still going strong! wasn't able to be there for the gathering because i was at camp. just saw the pictures my cousin sent to me... and somehow i just want to see her now. *Aabracadabra!!!* haha

it was a seanified judee dodee merving weekend

haha...probably only Ann Nee, Crystal, Lyanna and i understand the heading above. it had something to do with the confirmation 3 (for sec 3s) camp we had over the week which was super duper fun! we represented the youth council together with Nat, Colin and Geri to plan activities for the teens and just to have fun with them. met at church on saturday at 8am when we had some last minute briefing. 8.30...the teens arrived and we went round to introduce ourselves and interact with them. two buses then took us all the way to IMH church somewhere near hougang. we started the introduction with a game of wakko...imagine 70 plus people playing...haha. the schdule was packed with sessions with themes like "Is God real?", "You are precious" etc. the group of us did a skit on the common problems faced by teens these days...and i was role playing a fat-ugly-poor-nerdy girl who is unlike by her peers. i guess my role has kinda made me realised that there are people out there who are feeling the way my character did...just that because we are not affected, so we never really understand how these people will think or feel. other activities were making a montage reflecting our inner and outer self, "thumbody" and the A-Z game. we led in praise and worship that night, after which Wayne shared his story which touched many hearts. the teens has their confession too. and while all of them were fast asleep...the YC members had yummy cakes :)

Rise and Shine...Sunday came too fast. perhaps because Ann Nee, Crystal and i was singing and chatting the whole night. and oh...we didnt get to sleep on beds *backaches*...haha. but the Hi-5 session did brighten everyone's day...haha...right? Oooo happy day! we had two more sessions for the day...one by Dominque and the other by Bro Michael. In Dominque's session, on activity was all of us sitting down within the outline of a body and then reading out a passage...one body part after another...something like showing that we all must function together as one body otherwise it'll fail. this kinda explains about our faith too. i thought that was cool. Bro Michael talk was hilarious...couldn't stop laughing but yet he is able to draw all our attention to his topics raised. the camp ended with a mass where the teens got to meet their parents at the chapel. before that, Jude, Kenneth and i had to come up with a tune for the resp plasm...though we three kinda screwed up for remembering the tune, we sure had lots of fun. but in the end, somehow it worked out eventhough the tune of the chorus became the verse...haha.

check out the picture for the camp at http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=2409150093...it was so so fun! what a seanified, judee dodee mering weekend!

we brought the whole com to school!

the whole time from yesterday night till this morning was crazy. was just doing some last checks for my group's project work slides when i realised that the file couldnt open and my computer kept reading "either you file is not a movie maker file or it is corrupted". by then it was already way past midnight when all of us realsied that the video could only open in Audrey's computer. so yes...die die die. haha...and we brought the computer to school today! Audrey brought the CPU, Eugenia brought the speakers, mouse and keyboard and i brought the screen. it as damn funny...got a lot of weird stares from the moment i left home, in school and after school. "dont they know that laptops actually exist?" ya...i heard that comment a few times...haha. even still, we had problems setting it up in school because the damn plug was different! and halfway through the presentation when we were just about to flash the video, the whole computer restarted. so suai. but it went really really well for our group...serious! apart from the technical problems...everthing else were great! i didnt stumble, wasnt nervous, no "erms" and "err"...Audrey and Eugenia too. Questions were fine...in fact they were good :) so laugh at us la...hahaHAHA...i'd be the last to laugh. wahaha!

but we sure learnt a lot from this experience...how things can just happen anytime. but its how we choose to deal with the situation. we could have just forget about including the video to make things easier and its only 3 mins plus long. and i sure got much closer to Audrey and Eugenia...going to each other's house, staying over. and now i'm glad that it all ended nicely :)

i stopped by ngee ann city yesterday morning when my dad dropped me off near town to go to school while on his way to work. went to take a look at the Subaru WRX challenge and by then it was already the 69th hour. madness! there were only 3 participants left yesterday morning around 10.30 and i was rooting for the girl. but i knew that the guy would win as he was still looking so fresh while the other two looked like they were going to doze off any minute. so cool...i dont even think i can last an hour! haha.

sorry my friend

first day of the week and i already starting to dread the holidays and some how i miss school. haha...but i'm looking forward to my camps and trips. perhaps its because we are gonna be J2s next year...cant imagine that man. how time flies so fast and we are all growing up. its all seemed like it was yesterday. havent really thought of what i want to do for this holidays. hmm...i want to train more for rugby and next year's school x-country, movies, catch up with old friends, learn piano from Michelle Kwok...sleep more...haha. i really need to gain back my fitness.

had touch rugby training yesterday. and i scored a try...a be-au-ti-ful one...haha. i've always admire how my seniors could do it so nicely. the more i think or it...the more i'm loving the game. say bye bye to track and field...getting so tired of it. maybe not field. i started my first training for discus today and coach said that i was doing fine. give me a month and you'll see me on the field. since it'll be my last year next year...i really want to give discus a shot. maybe i'd do well in it...maybe i wont...but at least i know i've tried yup...no more running.

so so sorry Leonard! i knew i wouldnt be able to make it this morning. couldnt contact you the entire day and i feel really bad even now. i promise i'll make it for the next 6.15am mass.

late for school

yes i was late for school yesterday...for like one second!? that stupid Kyaw Saw Lynn had to stop me just when i entered the hall. i could have just rush in and be in time for the national anthem and everything. so i had to attend dc at 4.30pm yesterday when school ended at 1.10pm. haha and this is my first time i ever attended any dc. sickening!

had our Bintan trip 3 meeting yesterday. yeah...i will be going to Bintan for a overseas CIP trip at the end of november. we are suppose to go there and teach the kids (primary level) and at the same time help to set up their library. we were splitted into our groups yesterday and i am kinda thankful for the members i got in my group. dont know all of them at first but we could communicate with each other pretty well after that. the other groups were kinda quiet. i'm really looking foward to the trip...haha...Bintan, here i come!

tortoise rocks!

wahaha...i slept from 3 to 8pm today! stupid alarm clock didnt ring! or maybe it did. been sleeping so much...haha.

went for Gene and Serena's wedding on friday...my rugby coach and team mate respectively. all the girls we usually see in t-shirt, shorts and boots, but on friday all were so pretty! especially Weiyi and Tabby who we thought will never ever wear a skirt. we also did a surprise indian dance for the couple's second march in...you know after when the couple change into their other outfit. yeah its was hilarious! though we kind screwed up for some of the steps, but everyone sure enjoyed themselves. the next day was the touch rugby finals for the team against SRC. unfortunately it was a draw after a tough game...but it was still a good one considering the fact that they were all drunkards the day before...haha.

saturday was open house. it was kinda boring...had to mend the track booth for the first shift in the morning, gym demostration in the afternoon...other times i was just walking around with my friends and went to the library to sleep for a while. thought i spotted someone familiar in his vj uniform and it turned out to be Jonathan! long time no see. brought some of the KC girls around too. and my tortoise friend said hello to me! ahhh! yeah...made my sis come down for open house just to see my tortoise friend. then we went to town for lunch, followed me to watch my touch game...oh and then we took the wrong bus home! so we basically travelled round and round singapore yesterday. from bouna vista to town to SMU then to kallang...supposed to go home from there but we took the bus in the wrong direction and we got off at boon keng...haha.

school trainings starts tomorrow. havent been training for a long long time. can feel all the fats collecting in my body...haha. have to bulid up my fitness from scratch again. now that trainings are starting...cant go home early anymore :( but coach Ma has agreed to teach me discus...so that's something to look forward to.

haha...dont think i can sleep tonight.

let it be

school has been boring since the change of timetable. if it wasn't for project work, i guess i would have skipped school. nothing to look forward to everyday apart from seeing my tortoise friend..haha. other then that...stoning, slacking, finding things to do yet not knowing what to do. i would rather spend quality time, having more sleep or just staying at home would be better. somehow i feel that some my good friends in ac dont really know me well and vice versa. so actually we are just good friends because we just hang out together. when one of my classmates said today really turned me off. i mean...how can she say something she's she dont even know and saying she knows it. on my part, i cannot judge the rest because of her. but i can definately say that we dont know each other enough and worst not at all. and i dont see much closeness within my class either...its just the outer side of it which we assume that we are close.

finally got our very own base class when previously it was LT2. now its NL3 where NL classrooms are usually occupied by arts students. the convenience of being close to the canteen and hall, not much of climbing stairs and moving around the school campus. kinda fun too...the other day we found a packet of balloons left behind by the JC2s and we played balloon volleyball. haha. just that its a bit smelly...actually a lot...haha.

getting results back tomorrrow which i know for sure that it wont be good. i just hope that i can clear the exams even if its just a pass, its ok. perhaps not enough revision...i dont know. but the papers weren't easy. i guess i'll say a little pray tonight and leave the rest to God. yeah...if that's how its going to be, then let it be.

<img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7963600-109837458479558356?l=glist.blogspot.com' and we were Christopher's fans...supposedly cos he's the friend's friend's friend...something like that. so yup...pls vote for Chris! whahaha!

so far everything has been pretty hectic. all the last minute work that the teachers are throwing at us. can you imagine just 3 days more to promo exams and they havent even finish organic chem only today when the lecturer kinda just gave a overall summary and expect everyone to understand. and i seriously know nuts about that damn chapter. oh wells. so watching singapore idol did lighten things a bit...need to relax a little or i'll go mad...haha.

hmm...been thinking of how some people are doing. yeah...i happen to meet Ms Felicia Low at popular parkway the other day. she was my art teacher in sec 2. yeah...and for a while i just couldn't recall her name. seriously she looks different now. and suddenly i just link her to the many faces i havent seen for a long time. that feeling of...hmm how to describe it...like wondering how you are doing...if you actually remember me.

i guess i should be going... haha.

almost there...

so tired...haha...just 1 more week to promo exams...hang in there! serious! yup...so i'm doing my part...keep telling myself that die die must do well for chem...i hope. it'll be good that we can enjoy and celebrate together as a class after the exam. yup...and with people encouraging each other in class...i'm sure it'll help. 1sc9! must keep reminding yourself...chalet chalet chalet!!!

i think i'm going crazy...sometimes i dont even know what the hell i'm talking! must be the late nights. while some people are falling asleep...i'd be talking crap and laughing away with the few of them. but when i actually stop and think...i cant remember what i just said. that's scary...haha. but i really really hope everybody will do well...all get promoted together :)

bye Aloy!

so fast it was time for Aloy to go. i didnt expect it to be so quick. he's the 4th one after Mark. since two months back i've been counting down together with Crystal...seems so long yet so fast. well, i can picture Aloy in France now by the countryside...trying to get used to the surroundings and everything. on thursday at the airport, there were at least a hundred to send him off. could see that many are trying to hold back their tears with the question in their heads 'when am i going to see you again?'. maybe in a few years time when he drop by singapore again? i dont know. but i'm really proud of him for joining the priesthood. wish him all the best in whatever he do :) haha...now whenever i hear the song 'i want it that way'...i'll remember the time when Crystal, Nana and i sang it for him...with that disgusted look on his face! i hope he didnt have any bad memories after that...haha. we have decided that after our A'levels we'll save up to visit him to visit him :)

i like to go to the airport. just take a straight bus down...go there to study, have ice-cream, or just hang around. but i hate it whenever we have to send people off. now i'm thinking who will be the next. hmm...

i must follow the rules!

past few days has been pretty good. i spent my whole day at SSC on thursday...studied in the library, went to the gym, had all my meals there. i like going to the club...can do everything there. minus all the time for travelling. and i finished 4 chapters of chem when i was there! yay.
my mum took us all to grand hyatt to stay over a night yesterday. she had this voucher thingy which i think you have only have to pay a small part of the cost. at first i thought it was kinda silly...singaporean stay there for what? but it was quite fun la...can relax a little and be away from home for a while...haha. we went shopping, ate a lot...basically hang around town the whole day. initially i was pissed off...they made me wait there for 3 hours! damn. we had this really good prawn mee at adam road...must try!

we had a touch rugby game with SRC team 3 this evening. this really big 'touched' me by swinging her arm across my face...and i was like blur for a while. couldn't see properly. and i did a wrong move...gave the ball away. i should have been more alert. i think the refree has something against me too. keep calling me out..."winger, please back 5m with me!". but i did!
argh...every game he'll do that to me.

i saw the line '22 more days to promotional exam' on the school website. 22 days sounds more scarier than 3 weeks and less than one month more. i really want to do well this time. my dad was disappointed with me for the term exam. its really bad to hear your parents telling you that they are disappointed with you. oh wells. that's why i came up with a so called contract for myself...what i can do and what i cannot do for the next few weeks...haha. if i breach any of the rules then there will be consequences. i know its kinda stupid...but if it'll help me focus more on my work and doing much much better...i dont mind people thinking i'm doing something stupid... haha. so yes...i should stop blogging already. rule 5: internet only at most twice a week unless anything urgent. hahaha!

buhbye mark!

sigh sigh...another gone. it was a double send off yesterday...my classmate Esther and Mark. they are my second and third friend leaving the country this month. if my dad didnt mention the other day, i wouldn't realised that so many people around me have left! Gabriel went to the US just a week ago. why are so many people going abroad to study? Aloy is leaving some time next week...i think two other girls from Blacks team is going to the UK in mid september. yeah...maybe some day i'd be the one leaving too...wonder how it'll be like to be away from home.

stayed over at Eu's place on sunday night together with Audrey to do our final draft of written report for pw. its in jurong...all the way to boon lay mrt! took me like forever to reach there. said that we'll stay up till 3am...both of them were already sleeping by 1! and some how i dont really feel comfortable sleeping over at her place...perhaps because we aren't very close friends...and there wasnt any bed or mattress to sleep on! ok there was one mattress...but the two were already sleeping on it. so i was the only one who stayed up...with the company of Aishah on the phone...or else i'll just die...so dark some more! i slept one the floor and my back ached the next day. but at we got it done...dont have to think about it anymore...yay!

ever feel like you are surrounded by a sea of people yet still feel alone. ok...maybe not so drastic. i also dont know why but that was what i felt when we were at the airport yesterday. first it was the group of AC ppl who were Esther's friends. then again, i'm not really close to her. yeah...i think i only know two of them. then it was the YC-ers...feel that those i'm closer to are either already away or going away...with the exception of a few. as for the others...i dont think i even know most of them well enough. anyway, i think they dont know me too. yeah...just didnt feel like talking much yesterday...what's there to talk about?

i spent the whole day sleeping today...hee...i love sleeping!

O happy day! :)

haha...had to load some pictures i took today. and today was a really good day...as in really really good! i have to talk about it! had our teachers' day celebration today. think our school is the only few to celebrate after the actual day. also it is the last day of the month! the performance was very entertaining...compared to sec school...had dance, singing, live band, drama...i enjoyed the blanga (correct spelling?) dance especially! it was damn cool! something like indian pop dance...a lot of vigorous movements. they did it during orientation also...AC seems to love it...half of them are chinese! i think that was really cool...would like to learn it one day...haha...but me dancing on stage is a no no. i enjoyed the percussion performance by the band too...really interesting...something like the movie Drumline. and of cos the impromtu skit by the teachers and some members of the student council...that was really hilarious. the audience had to hand in one line scripts each...and they'll just act according to what was given...and it could be anything. by the way, my class contributed to 'cannot make it', 'i'm sexy!' and 'i love my cow'...haha.

spent the whole afternoon with my sis. it was suppose to be me, her and her friends Nat and Olivia. but Nat brought brought her guy friend...which was kinda weird. but that's ok. we caught A Cinderella Story today...Chad Michael Murray...wahaha. before that my sis and i had lunch at pastamania...and we ordered two pizzas and one bowl of pasta plus two combo. haha...i have no idea why but thankfully Nat and her friend came along. Met Olivia after the movie...me and my idea to go to baker's inn for that nice yummy mango mousse we saw on the magazine. So Olivia, my sis and i went over to paragon. but after they kept talking about that yellow pus-about to burst-pimple on 'his' forehead. forget it i'll pass. yucks! but we still had ice-cream and Olivia had her dinner. its really expensive...but the food is really really good...trust me...the desert was like heaven!

that was not all! still had more ice-cream! we had a mini gathering among the few of us from YC for Aloy at the SMU park today. haha...my idea...really like the place when Aloy introduce a few of us to the place early this year. it was really ice-cream under the stars!
